In a statement released Tuesday, the American company announced the creation of a development center in Toronto with the lease of two large spaces that will be converted into a studio.

These places will be used to develop projects such as the horror series "Guillermo del Toro Presents Ten After Midnight" and the movie "Let It Snow". In total, Netflix advances the creation of approximately 1850 jobs per year, but does not specify the duration of its presence in the Queen City.
"Excellent teams, excellent studio space, excellent customer service and big companies like Netflix make Toronto the best place in North America to produce TV shows and movies," enthused. Toronto Mayor John Tory.
In addition to these new workplaces and various sites she has occasionally visited for a few years now, the Netflix team has signed a lease to Martini Film Studios located in British Columbia.
