I HAVE A BALL
NOW
WHAT I DO?
Having a ball in the breasts does not mean having cancer
A tumor is a growth, development and multiplication of cells in a disorderly and uncontrolled manner.
Changes in cell growth occur according to their nature and produce two types of tumor: malignant (cancer) and benign, four out of every five tumors in the breasts are benign.
Benign tumors are soft and move, can be painful and feel one or more balls.
Malignant tumors are hard and fixed, that is, they do not move and there is no pain.
Benign lesions appear after adolescence and are more frequent between 30 and 40 years of age.
In contrast, malignant lesions occur more frequently after age 40 and continue to increase after menopause.
