Competitors Disagree On Essential Cannabis Service

There are many within the healthcare industry that are still adamantly against promoting cannabis use, and some have recently gotten their feathers a bit rustled over the move of various government agencies to declare cannabis businesses to be an essential service.

Should we be allowing the same organization that has demonstrated they cannot balance a budget, to be the ones who determine what business is essential and what business is not? what might be essential to one person, could easily be something that provides no value to another.

Cannabis has been proven to be a viable substitute for many prescription drugs

Previous investigation has found that patients are willing to use cannabis instead of many other pharmaceutical options in the market. And that should be their right.

It isn't any secret that some doctors have been paid to prescribe opioids and other medications. These substances have fueled thousands of overdoses around the country.

In the meantime, they remain fixated on cannabis as if this plant is the threat.

Cannabis has never been attributed to a single death from overdose. And cannabis companies aren't likely to be offering the same sorts of kickbacks for promoting their products to customers.

Healthcare professionals should be willing to listen to their patients, listen to those who are saying that they need cannabis to function and cope with their symptoms. To them, it is an essential service and forcing those individuals to opt for pharmaceutical medications that they don't want might come as a great detriment to them, possibly even costing them their lives.

If people will literally suffer and die without it, it is essential for them, by very definition. We know that to be the case. Many things cause a "high" or "stimulation" or "chill" effect along with other actions, including prescription drugs, and legal drugs such as alcohol, caffeine, nicotine, etc. History will harshly judge all cannabis prohibitionists.
