Hemp for Victory (1942)

A classic and historic video produced by the US Government by the Department of Agriculture asking farmers to grow hemp to assist in the war effort. This video details briefly the history of hemp, explains the uses of hemp and encourages farmers to grow as much as possible.

The movie was ‘removed’ from the catalogue and it’s existence denied by the US Deptartment of Agriculture for half a generation until Cannabis activist Jack Herer unearthed the VHS tape after exhaustive searches for years in the archive.
