RE: Seniors Can't Stop Getting In Line For Cannabis

in #cannabis7 years ago (edited)

I really hope you are right. Cannabis can save us from ourselves

Unfortunately, this will require pushback from the majority. As long as we just talk about it, and keep re-electing the same state & fed reps with the promise of a new day and getting the same old same old, it won’t happen.

I won't be surprised if this legislation won't end up being decided by the SCOTUS.

Not having a choice is communism. If study after study consistently shows military vets fairing far better with Rx cannabis than opiods; but, opiods continue to be pushed down their throats, people should begin marches about that. Peaceful protests are a great thing; but, lately many seem to be targeting agendas of subliminal chaos.

Now, to share a huge oxymoron:

While a person could go to Colorado, and legally buy cannabis, he COULD simultaneously be convicted of a crime should the feds choose to implement the current laws on the books.

Thankfully, they’re not pushing back against states where the people have spoken; but, the thought that they could leaves an emotional residue users shouldn’t have to be burdened with.

Fifty years from now, nothing will change unless enough voices insist that they do. Right now, the messages are so mixed; but, thankfully the skew continues to grow in favor of legalization.

Last thing, I expect it will happen; but it will be a sad day when Big Pharma starts dallying in the prescription side of things. The lobbyists will con-vince politicians that it’s the best thing since white rice; but, the regulations created by Big Pharma will threaten the existence of current pure dispensaries.

I'm quite encouraged by what I've seen first hand and read about medicinal marijuana.

Best regards.

Peace.
