🌹Hello Steemians🌹
I hope all is well for you and yours.
Today,I canned ten pounds of ground beef. I raw packed it into pint jars and pressure cooked them for ninety minutes. To use it in recipes I drain it,crumble it and reheat it. This is a great shortcut for taco night or spaghetti night. 🌹🌹
Have a wonderful day.

That's a great idea! I might have to try that.

It really helps if you are tired but still have many people to feed.

Howdy! You've been visited by @nateonsteemit on behalf of Homesteaders Co-op, the free, international marketplace for sustainable goods on steem!

I appreciated your post and featured it in today's second edition of our plankton support curation initative!

Meat canning is something I've not heard of before! How long can you store it? Does it need refrigeration?

Thank you,I'm honored to be in the plankton support curation initiative.

I'm happy to introduce a new cooking idea to you. You have to pressure can meat for ninety minutes. After it's canned you can store it for two to five years. It does not require refrigeration. However, you can store it in the refrigerator if you chose to.

Two to five years! Holy wow, that's basically forever!

Yes,it is. :)
