Classic Car: NSU Ro80

Car of the Year in 1967, this disaster had no success guaranteed for the commercial market. Once claimed the world most aerodynamic production road car had terrible issues under the hood. The rotatory engine was so unreliable and semi-automatic transmission was so unpopular. But it did offer superb high speed refinement for its time. The company was eventually bought up by the VW/Audi empire. Most of its cars have been fitted with Mazda’s rotatory engines.
