일곱명의 딸들은 어머니에게 감사를 표했으며 "어머니! 세상에 사는 모든 여자들에게도 젊음을 영원히 간직하게 해주십시요" 라고 간청하였다. 그래서 어머니는 일곱명의 딸들에게 "그러면 너희들이 지상(地上)에 내려가 지상에 사는 여자들을 위하여 내가 너희에게 주는 이 꽃씨들을 심어라" 하고 명령했다. 대부분의 꽃은 한약으로써 여성의 질병치료에 쓰인다.

합환화의 맛은 달고 중성이다. 심장과 비장으로 들어간다. 가슴이 갑갑한 증상과 불면증과 후두염과 낙상(落傷)과 건망증과 풍열로 인한 눈병과 눈이 침침한 증상과 모든 종류의 뾰루지와 창(瘡)을 치료해준다.
