One day before the big carnival parade!! My town is decorated in a carnival mood!! (pics)
hello friends..These days on Greece we have Halloween. In my town we have a big carnival every year and more than 6000 thousand people participate, divided in 35 carnival teams. Every carnival team wears the same carnival uniform and make a carnival chariot with big funny and artistic sculptures made of paper and foam rubber. The municipality every year uses last years sculptures on chariots to decorate the town during the carnival period. Yesterday I walked at my town and I made some photographs of them for you to see them!!

Carnival is the biggest event here. It happens once a year and it last for two weeks. During this period, there are a lot of events like treasure hunting(the biggest one in the world with record guiness),parties , people who sing serenades like the old times, night parades and more. The biggest event is the big carnival parade and it is the reward for all those people who worked so hard for one year to make this carnival so successful. It is time for everyone to go wid, dance and have fun!! I will participate tomorrow at the big carnival parade and I will take a lot of photographs and videos to show you more.
