Have you guys seen the new Toyota 86? yoo, it is having none of that 86 looks that we used to know D: but I can guarantee you some good reading regarding this car, as I have choose the easy article.. But the main thing is, like why is everything have to be semi petrol, this petrol - electric thing will go on..

So for todays discussion, I choose ..

Well its not exactly a 86..

Yet Toyota has given us the glimpse of this concept which being said adapt the 86 and all back in last year Tokyo Motor Show that the new 'GR HV Sports' are promised with having more power as was the next year generation sports coupe.

It might be not pretty looking and all that..But the targa-roofed two-door has been designed to showcase a potential road car using Toyota's Le mans hybrid powertrain, well if you look closely, it is has a convertible look(?) as it were able to be removed, the roof panel, for maximum "wind-in-the-hair" experience.

It has yet to reveal regarding full detail of what lies under the bonnet(hood?), but says the car as it in the picture shown, which clearly uses the basic body structure of the existing 86 coupe, will retain a front-engined, rear-drive layout with centrally-mounted battery pack which I'm guessing is right below the footing, then six speed-manual that overall able to run from 0-100 km/h in 4 second?

Toyota said the vehicle will be powered by a petrol-electric powertrain that matches the performance of a 2.0 litre and uses the company's latest Toyota New Generation Architecture, where it shares its basic potential production version with the critically-acclaimed new HR city SUV. Well I guess that's a good thing then?

This GR HV Sports, yes its actually GR HV Sports.. Concept will also joined alongside with TJ Cruiser concept, as being said an urban off-roader that puts as much emphasis on being a workhorse as it does a plaything, on the Tokyo stage.

I tell you what, these semi electric petrol powered car are very crpytic to me, or its just me who can keep along with the vast development in automotive industry.
