I've wanted to build one of these since I was about 18 years old when I first found out there were kits to build one yourself. I just loved the look of them and the fact they could run a big block added to the appeal.
As it turns out it seems like they are a point and shoot rocket that doesn't really corner as great as it should, so I pretty much let the idea go. Seeing those pics still makes me wish I had built one though.
It won't be anywhere near as good as the car we're building though, in speed acceleration or handling.
Yeah I remember, it's a shame, but imagine if you started building one back then, you have to move it to a different site every week!

Wow they have done a beautiful job on that and automatic with a rather modern looking dash.

Yeah that dash is definitely an upgrade from the kits I remember in the 80's and nineties. The whole interior looks like it's been taken from a much newer model car.

I forget who it was but it was an Australian company they also did an updated more "modern" looking version. I'll probably find it later.
