Edaran Tan Chong Motor's answer to the Toyota Alphard is the 2017 Nissan Elgrand. Nissan's full size premium seven seater is merely sold here in one variant for RM388, 000. Under the hood of the 2015 Machine Elgrand 3. 5 Freeway Star is an obviously aspirated 3. 5-litre VQ35 V6 engine, similar to the one found in the Murano SUV. Run output is rated at 280hp at 6, 400rpm and 344Nm of torque at 4, 400rpm.
Drive is sent to the entrance wheels via the carmaker's Xtronic constantly variable transmission with six-speed manual setting. As you want this fully imported Japanese MPV packs quite a whole lot of premium features. Between them are LED projected headlights with Adaptive Front Lighting System, chrome covered 18-inch sport alloy tires wrapped with 225/55 series rubbers, side mirror included LED signal lights and rear LED combo bulbs. Open the door and will also be greeted by a spacious cabin that features a 2-2-3 seating arrangement. Love its competitor, the 2015 Nissan Elgrand offers individual captain seats with Ottoman massager and adjustable glenohumeral joint support for second line passengers. Other key highlights include sliding third line seats, a Fine Vision Meter, a five-inch Drive Assist Display, a leather twisted multi-function controls, wood grain cabin inserts, cruise control, Plasma Cluster & Clean Air System, twin driven sunroofs, powered front car seats with memory function for driver and premium leather upholstery.

Besides that, the Japanese MPV also comes equipped with right and left automobile sliding doors, powered backside tailgate, Intelligent Key, drive start ignition, two pairs of wireless headphone and a roof mounted 11-inch LCD monitor. In terms of safety the 2015 Nissan Elgrand 3. 5 Highway Start is prepared with an around view monitor that offers a bird's eye view of the vehicle, front and rear range detection sensors, six SRS airbags, AB MUSCLES with EBD and Braking system Assist, Vehicle Dynamics Control, Zone body construction with pedestrian injury reduction, front side active head restraints and seatbelt pre-tensioners with load limiters.
