New Project Cars 2 trailer drops and September release date announced LICENSE
We're really excited about Gran Turismo Sport, and hope it will come out this year, but it's not the only racing sim that should be on your radar. Project Cars 2, from Need For Speed Shift developer Slightly Mad Studios, is also coming out this fall. The developer released a new trailer in time for this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), along with the release date: September 22.
Based on the trailer, this looks like it could be the ultimate game for fans of every racing discipline on the face of the planet. You'll find vehicles and tracks from Le Mans and GT racing, Global Rallycross Championship, Formula 1, and IndyCar. There are modern and vintage versions of each, too. And according to the game's website, road cars and go-karts will be also be featured.
The racing conditions look robust, too. The trailer shows off various weather, and times of day, which the website says can be dynamic. It looks like you'll be able to have loads of cars in a single race as well. This will be perfect for running a virtual Indianapolis 500 with the authentic 33 cars.
Check out the trailer and all of its racing glory above. As previously mentioned, the game comes out on September 22, and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. And for PC gamers with powerful machines, the website says the game supports virtual reality, three screens with 12K resolution, and 21:9 aspect ratio monitors.
