The Story of "The Beast"

This is "The Beast", a cat who was adopted in 2015 from Mrs. Murray's Cat and Dog Home in Aberdeen, Scotland.

Within minutes of arriving home with The Beast, he curled up on his new owner's lap, purring loudly.

The Beast’s beautiful markings and semi-long hair fur first caught his new owner's attention. He truly is a lovely cat with a wonderful nature, and he is quite comical too.

He has a lot of personality, is very friendly and inquisitive, and he loves to play and pounce on things as if he is reliving his kitten-hood. He is affectionate, has great in-house habits, and adapted to his new surroundings very quickly.

The Beast had always been an indoor cat prior to coming to live with his new owner, but he showed so much interest in going outside, his new owner decided he should experience the joys of the great outdoors as nature intended.

For the past few years, The Beast has gone outside nearly every day - rain, shine or snow. He loves to play, run, chase, pounce, jump walls, and stalk birds. He seems to have made a 'frienemy' with next door's cat too.

The Beast enjoys being a hybrid of a cuddly lap cat and a wild beast who loves to play. He seems to thoroughly enjoy life as you can tell from the photos.

His new owner is grateful every day that she adopted The Beast. He has brought so much warmth and joy into her house, and turned it into a home.

The Beast's new owner would like to thank all the people who were involved in taking care of him at Mrs. Murray’s Cat and Dog Home. They must have done a great job in caring for him, and making him the loving and confident cat that he is today.
