One Year of My Feline Nenês

Greetings, travelers!

Writing really does make me feel better with myself and the world, so I've been trying to do it more, both here and offline. However, if I'm talking about making me feel better, I need to mention these two beautiful creatures.

We've been taking care and loving the Nenês since February of this year, but they were actually born on late November of last year, before we adopted them. Given that today is the 4th of December, it's official that my not-so-little ones have entered this world more than one year ago; and I'm so grateful for it!

Last year marked the passing of one of my biggest partners in my life, our dear 16 years old cat Violeta. She was one of the most beautiful creatures that have ever walked (and meowed) over this Earth. The silence that reigned over this house after she was gone was really weird. I had gotten used to getting home and hearing her loud Meow cheering us. And then it was nothing.

As I write this, little Bellinha is sleeping through my legs, while her brother does the same in my mother's. These two brought happiness and life back to our home, and I hope their care for each other can give you some happiness on the line too! :)
