Happy Caturday: Here’s More Than Snow Outside
Red likes to look out the kitchen window and watch the birds on the back deck.
We had quite a bit of snow and the birds are flying around looking for food.
It’s not all white outside...Red is watching the pretty Blue Jay. The birds are brave to come that close. They know my two inside cats can’t get them. This Blue Jay is relaxed with the crown on his head lowered.
Sunday decided to get in on the action and see what’s going on outside.

The bird is brave indeed. I am glad there are not so brave birds around here, because they would drive my cat mad. 😀
Hi Neli. The cats do get excited when they see the Blue Jays but when the smaller birds like the Juncos stop by that really gets them going.
Ah yes, around here the birdfeeder on the deck is known as "Kitty TV." I guess the birds just get used to the cat being that close, after a while... although I sometimes venture out on the deck, but only with "Hooman Supervision."

Thanks for stopping by @curatorcat. One time Red was by the open door when I was feeding the squirrel. Red made a wild dash for the squirrel but luckily the squirrel escaped and ran up the apple tree with Red in hot pursuit. When Red got to the apple tree he stopped as he was up to his neck in snow and didn’t like the feeling. I went to get him and carried him back to the house. He hasn’t tried that again.

Thanks Joan. My ginger cat, Red. Was the only one to get out briefly in the snow and he was totally surprised by the feel of it, being an inside cat.
