Macro photography Insect

I believe that this is what is commonly called a stink bug, but I haven’t come across one in these colours before and it doesn’t have the characteristic shield shaped back so I really don’t know. I do find it beautiful and the colours are very striking. The insect was also quite patient with me fumbling with the settings on my phone to get a nice picture:)
