The mention of the first theatrical production dates back to 2500 BC. The first theatrical game took place in Egypt, the plot was served by images of Egyptian mythology - the history of the god Osiris. This was the birth of a long and strong connection between the theater and religion. In ancient Greece, the theater began to form as an art, clear definitions of tragedy and comedy were established, as well as other theatrical forms. Ancient Greek theater performances also used mythological images.

The International Day of Theater is not just an international professional holiday of stage masters and all theater workers, it is our holiday - a festival of millions of not indifferent spectators.

And, of course, on the occasion of this wonderful Day, various theatrical festivals, festive performances and shows of the best performances are held in theaters of many countries of the world, and officials and members of the public do not stint on this day to congratulations and compliments addressed to workers of theaters and art collectives.
