Cheerful moments

Last evening as I mentioned I had to go for an event, it was my friend's traditional ceremony called Navjote. It is a ceremony that is done for a child in our religion latest by the age of 11, where the child is initiated into the religion. It's a very important ceremony in our tradition because after it is done the child is officially a Zoroastrian. If this ceremony is not done in childhood and when the person grows up the child cannot enter the Fire Temple, which is our sacred place of worship.

The ceremony is done in a very grand way, family and friends are invited and there is a big event just like a wedding which is arranged. There is a nice decoration done, and drinks and food arrangements are made, with dance and music and lots more. Everyone does it as per their budget capacity. Some people do it in a simple way whereas some do it in a very elaborate manner. The more important is the ceremony, the rest of the things are just as per the way one desires.

Got a very nice click with my Son at the event.

As you can see, how grandly it is done.

It was hectic and tiring for me, because I had a night long travel and then during the day I barely got some time to sleep and after that attending the function was a bit tiring, but then at the same time it was fun also because I got to catch up with a lot of my friends and known people.

Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸
