THE POWER OF GRAVITY
On today’s episode of the DailyCelestialChallenge initiated by @sirknight, I’d be explaining to us the power of our well known gravity. Gravity is a natural phenomenon, relatively dealing with a natural force, which tends to cause physical masses to attract other bodies to themselves, or rather, cause physical things to move towards each other.

Although within us, this great force cannot be felt but we do know it’s gravity holding us to the earth’s surface. Gravity is considered a weak force in nature compared to other forces such as the electromagnetic force holding our atoms and molecules in our bodies strongly intact. But thinking about it, what actually hold planets firmly to orbit themselves around the sun? Well it’s GRAVITY ofcourse.

So one can imagine the strength of this gravitational force. Holding Jupiter alone to orbit the Sun is just alltime magnificent relatively to holding up atoms in our physical bodies.

Though they say gravity is way weaker than the magnetic form, looking at an astronomical level, we both know who’s got the upper hand now.

Now have you heard about Escape velocity? Escape velocity is that velocity which is required to leave/escape the gravitation of a planet. To escape Earth’s escape velocity and defeat the gravitational force of the Earth, one must travel 7miles per second out of our atmosphere.

To understand gravity better, scientists are sourcing for space-time ripples that result from mega outer space forces like black holes collision and Star explosions, according to Amber Stuver, a physicist at Louisiana’s Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory(LIGO).
Special regards goes to Sir Isaac Newton, Galileo Galilee and Albert Einstein for their authentic gravity theories which has gone along a way in defining and educating the world today.
