Social media? More like social masturbation.

It is the approximation of social interaction, but without voice, visuals or meaningful text, it is nothing more than a facsimile of interaction. It is social masturbation. Seeking, scrolling, and strategizing about who you talk with and what you say.

It's going down. I just recently moved from FB in earnest for my business and social scene. I think it is contagious.

The idea of people thinking that Social Masturbation sites would allow dissidents to stand up and foment real revolution is completely naive of our current reality.

FB and Twitter will allow the appearance of revolution, but not revolution itself. Mass bannings were a given, IMO.
