Lol, PhotoGrid has been around for like ages. It is a very popular photo app that has 40 million users (according to the article). I think this collaboration is equally beneficial to both parties.

It's agreeable that they should be popular in Brazil considering the impact made, but the team needs to consider expanding their tentacles to accommodate other countries.
I agree with you, it would be much better for events like this to be held periodically in different locations to give more persons the opportunity to participate.
I knew photogrid to be an app for grouping multiple images into a single one. I never knew it was also a social media platform.
I guess they had to inculcate the social media aspect to make the app more interactive, which I consider a great development.
