India, a land full of myths, legends, sacred books and delicious food. India has peculiarities such as the Taj Mahal, 5.6% of the world's gold reserves and has one of the most striking festivals of all... The HOLI festival or commonly known as the festival of colors, the HOLI is a spring celebration in these mystical lands and has a religious background of which few people are aware, but which we will discuss in another article.
This so colorful festival has been gaining adepts around the world and inevitably has been westernized, now the HOLI or color fest is celebrated in many countries of the world, but leaving a little bit of the initial meaning to one side, which for me has not been a problem because it is still a fun festival full of people who like electronic music and blow colors to the wind!
This December 8 celebrating the closing of the Quito festivities the C O L O R F E S T took place at the Itchimbia cultural center accompanied by the greatest exponents of electronic music in Ecuador such as Dj ALERON, Sebastian Castillo, Dj Alex_-De, Dj Orate, Rabbit, Giovanna Guerrero, among many others that made the electronic community of Quito jump with emotion. The festival was full of lovers of electronic music, food by I N K A B U R R G U E R and sponsored by the municipality of Quito.
The event began normally, in spite of having minor failures on the part of the sonidistas, neither that nor the rain could stop the fans that remained supporting the DJ's as if nothing was happening. The event ended relatively early at the request of the Quito police, but people did not make much fuss about the issue, accepted that the event had to end and proceeded to take photographs with the DJs.
In the end it was an excellent event, an afternoon full of good music, in a safe environment and we left with a good taste of mouth knowing that there will be many more similar events held in the light city of America ¡Viva Quito!
