Capilla en las nubes ☁️ Chapel in the clouds

Olan o el Mundo Perdido como lo llaman, es un lugar que parece de fantasía creado por un hombre de edad avanzada que se marchó de su casa en Escocía y se adentró en las montañas de Talamanca Costa Rica, donde ha vivido solo por más de diez años y ha creado jardines y una hermosa capilla, él cuenta en su libro que recibió por parte de Dios las indicaciones de que debía crearla.

Olan or the Lost World as they call it, it's a fantasy-like place created by an elderly man who left his home in Scotland and entered the mountains of Talamanca Costa Rica, where he has lived alone for more than ten years and has created gardens and a beautiful chapel, he tells in his book that he received from God the indications that he should create it.

Esto no fue una tarea nada fácil para hacer las diferentes cabañas, jardines y estructuras creadas se debía adentrar en la montaña, hacer este lugar tan hermoso le llevo 6 años.
Los materiales como el cedro fueron traídos desde Canadá, el pino de Chile y Argentina.
Los únicos medios de transporte eran bueyes y animales de carga.

This was not an easy task to do the different cabins, gardens and structures created was to enter the mountain, make this beautiful place took 6 years.
Materials such as cedar were brought from Canada, Chile pine and Argentina.
The only means of transport were oxen and pack animals.

En este lugar todo fue a mano sin ayuda de maquinaria, tal como se hacía en el pasado: jardines, cimientos, estanques y demás.
En este lugar el suministro de agua está canalizado desde manantiales ubicados en las partes altas de la montaña y el eléctrico de una rueda Pelton que se encuentra en el río al pie de la casa.

In this place everything was at hand without the help of machinery, as it was done in the past: gardens, foundations, ponds and others.
In this place the water supply is channeled from springs located in the high parts of the mountain and the electric one of a Pelton wheel that is in the river at the foot of the house.

Está es la cabaña en la que vivió 4 meses al llegar ahí mientras construía su casa, la llamo Casa Alacrán (ya que estaba infestada de alacranes).

This is the cabin where he lived for 4 months when he got there while building his house. He called it Casa Alacrán (it was infested with scorpions).
