New Cryptocurrency to Launch in Philippine Special Economic Zone

The Cagayan special economic zone is set to secure Philippines a place on the blockchain map by launching its own digital currency before the end of July.

According to the Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA), the government corporation in charge of administration within the region, the virtual asset will be used to facilitate all transactions within the region.
