Nice story, @yimiipsa! This is very intriguing, and the setting is wonderful. One wonders whether the danger is somehow very physical and real (perhaps she is a known terrorist or his stalker), or if the danger is more a personal one. Perhaps each time they cross paths, they realize they can't stay away from each other -- and they are both married. Or perhaps the last thing on earth he can afford right now is to fall in love, and seeing her, he realizes he is very much in danger of doing so. So many possibilities!
That was exactly my goal! That the reader give his own meaning at the end of the little story. At the start I was not sure what to write, this prompt was a real challenge for me I guess, but finally, floating through ideas and feelings, I came out with something coming from an intimate experience. And after realizing that, I knew the last mysterious phrase would become a different outcome for each one in their minds.
