joy

When a group of strangers join in a common cause, it is joyful. Yesterday, around the world, three million women, men and children stood in plazas, marched down streets, gathered in parks and joined in a peaceful demand for equality, freedom and justice. The insults heard from the President during the campaign, and afterwards, were appropriated and mocked as people showed their political might.

Messaging included keeping momentum going, and as I talked to strangers during the day, I learned we all have plans to practice what we preach. Right on!

Let’s remember that 74 million voters did not vote for the current President. As we join together, we can ensure that our voices asking for fairness and compassion and justice for all will be heard.
