How To Have Your Writing Piece Searchable on Google?

in #challenge30days7 years ago (edited)

Yes, those quotes are originally mine and yes, it’s on Google!

As a frustrated writer, having my literary works searchable on Google is such a big deal, of course, it’s Google. The ever famous Google.

Whenever I’m bored and proctastinating, I browse over Google Play Store for some useful apps, and well, I always end up installing something that could be useful for my writing.

While browsing, one app caught my interest and it’s called: YourQuote. When I downloaded the app, it was at about 13+ MB. But with its growing community, the latest update I had was 16.46 MB. If I’m not mistaken, this app is being run by a Hindi person.

The only basic things you can do at YourQuote are:

Write a poem, quotes or short stories.
Post each with background photo (mandatory).
Heart and comment other member’s piece.
Follow a member.

When it comes to background photos, it’s never a worry. The app has about more than a hundred background photo. Once you’re done writing your piece, you will proceed to choosing background photos; upon choosing, you’ll be able to see different photos as a frontliner, but clicking the cartonized house-like picture will lead you into the home of every photos, some of them are personalized by I guess, their affiliated partners. If you want to use your own photo, that is also possible. The first box on the frontline will allow you to choose any photo on your Gallery as the background of your piece.

You can also choose different, cute fonts, font colors and the most special thing of all— the generated credit. The quote will of course be named on you, depending on the penname or username that you use.

But wait, there’s more!

YourQuote is not just an app that could expose your piece, but an app that challenges you to write! Every day, the postman (the administrator of the app) posts challenges as your guide to write or your writing prompt. There would always be three challenges and it will be up to you to join in all three, or two, or one, or none!

Some example of those are:

Word Of The Day: Frozen.
(Use the word Frozen on your quote or poem.)

Thursday feels like________.

Write 5 things about how to move one.

If you wanted to just go with freestyle, that’s also fine. No limits. And most of all, IT IS SEARCHABLE ON GOOGLE.

There you go, I hope it will help some boost their confidence.

Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with YourQuote. I just want to share what I know.

Please include steemph and philippines as one of your tags in your futures posts. It will help :)

Thanks po, actually, I do, everytime, this one kasi hindi pa ako sure kung allowed ba kami gumamit ng ibang hashtag since entry ko po ito sa isang writing challege. Salamat po.

Ahh okay okay

P.S.
I think there had been an error with the photo upload. But proofs could be search if you key in: Kimberly Braulio Quotes on Google. It will show you some of the quotes I have made.
