How to make juicy cheeseburgers

Juicy Cheese Burgers

I made 3 burgers so I used just over 1 lb of hamburger. Patty up your burgers try not to handle the meat too much during this process as the heat from your hands will melt the fat some what and over working it will dry it out. And this cooking method is to make sure your cheese burgers are juicy and not dry.

I seasoned them

I seasoned them with Garlic Pepper, black pepper and salt then placed them in the pan with a lid over low to medium heat. I was cooking on an electric stove on my brand of stove that low to medium setting is number 4.

The Key here is to leave the meat alone

I missed taking a photo here but if you watch the video you will see what the hamburger should look like before you flip it. You will let the meat cook for about 5 minutes till the top looks like it is done from the steam of the lid. Once the entire area has a browned look to it, the meat is ready to be flipped. Then once it is flipped you press down on the burger to flatten it out once, then place the lid back down on the pan once all of them are flatten, and cook for an additional 4 to 5 minutes, gently pressing on them to make sure the juices are running clear. Then place the cheese on the burger and replace the lid for 30 to 40 seconds to allow the cheese to melt.

Those burgers look delicious! Have you ever tried a fried burger? You can do the same thing to spice it up but flatten the burger out real thin. Place it in hot oil in either a frying pan or fryer. When you see it float...it's done. Get a slice of cheese and put it on the burger and dunk it real quick in the hot oil. And it's ready for the bun.

You won't taste the oil, and it's super juicey. Give it a try sometime, you'll be suprised. And it's really quick.
