A Formal Introduction to Eurno

Hello and welcome to Eurno!

First things first, I would like to thank you on behalf of the Eurno development team for joining us on our maiden voyage into the wilderness of the cryptoverse. We hope to have you on board and active in our communal family for the foreseeable future and beyond

Since this is the first post I have ever made on behalf of the Eurno project, I am going to dedicate it to pre-emptively answering the most common questions I expect to be asked regarding Eurno in the coming weeks.

So, to not waste any time, let’s get straight into the thick of it!

What is the Eurno organisation?

Simply put, the Eurno organisation is a directly democratic one which will be focused on completing charitable ventures on behalf of the Eurno token holding community.

Our philosophy is that all life on earth is of equal importance regardless of: race, religion, geographic location, species (animals are of equal importance to us), financial wealth, or mental/physical ability, and that all living beings are all entitled to a life which is not only free of financial hardship, but also geographic locking.

Who created the Eurno organisation?

The Eurno organisation was created by two crypto enthusiasts with varying levels of experience in the cryptocurrency industry, blockchain technology and online web development. The project is being created in partnership with the Something Decent organisation and with Enumivo - the final home of the Eurno token.

Why was Eurno created?

We believe that the current status quo has lead to a situation in which a tiny fraction of the earth’s population is suppressing the ability of the average living being in order to finance an exorbitant lifestyle for themselves, and this is something which we wish to address.

The Eurno project was created to tackle the financial inequality which is prevalent throughout the world. At present there are a shocking a number of people living without access to the bare necessities which are required for human life. This has a knock on effect which negatively impacts the quality of animal life in the most affected regions.

By creating a self-funded charitable organisation, and tokenising it on the blockchain, it is hoped that the Eurno token holding community can unite to address the issues which are of utmost importance and democratically change the world, together.

How can it be self funded?

As mentioned, the Eurno organisation is created by two crypto enthusiasts. Myself (Da Fingis) and SoSoLean are going to be putting our own cryptocurrencies into master nodes and block producers in order to donate the profits to the Eurno token.

By providing a source of passive income we aim to advance to be able to begin funding charitable ventures as soon as our voting dApp is made public (expected by Q4 2019).

We will also be donating a generous sum of 100k Enumivo coins to the Eurno contract in order to stabilise the token’s value, and the Something Decent organisation will be donating 15% of all bounty donations it receives to the Eurno project.

When, and how, will the Eurno token be available?

Our token will be freely airdropped to anybody who wishes to claim it. We are currently waiting for our self claim airdrop dApp to finish with its closed beta test and for a short QSP audit to be completed (they are having issues with their system).

We expect our airdrop dApp to be released by the beginning of Q3 2018 and users who wish to claim it will need Meta Mask, Telegram and an Ethereum wallet.

As we do not believe in forcing people to support us (we are a democracy) we will not be requiring anything from claimants of our airdrop, other than to pay their own gas for the claim on the Ethereum network. The requirement of a Telegram is to attempt to prevent people claiming our airdrop more than once.

What are the next steps?

In the coming weeks we will be rolling out a number of announcements regarding the project. However, the main focus of our team at present is to ensure that our airdrop can be conducted successfully and reach the highest number of people possible.

Ultimately, the next goal of the Eurno project is to distribute our token for free and begin building our community. Our whitepaper is currently being edited (it is complete) and will be released no later than Monday 11th June 2018.

Once we have released our whitepaper we will create an official announcement thread on Bitcointalk.
