New plan. I am just not going to make promises about these posts because it seems, I can not keep them. I am on a rollercoaster of emotions right now. Need to ride it out and become my usual, collected self. I suspect I know what is to blame and it has slowly eaten at my brain for the last months. It is all a family matter. So, let's just drop that and talk about right now for a second. I am two days away from seeing my ex again. Yay me! It is a little scary because I realize I need my space, away from him and emotions in general. I am in need to stabilize my own feelings towards everything. It might be the coming winter depression but I doubt it. I usually get it but I have not yet seen winter this year so I am not going to blame the season. I might become a little detached from things the coming weeks. I tend to build walls to protect myself. I think it is the one mistake I did in my last relationship, building security bumpers against pain. And I caught myself doing it again, just a day ago. So I need to deal with that as well.

The SBD from this post will go to the @SchoolForSDG4 account. The Steem Power will stay with me, @lindahas. It will be used later on to help fund my trip to Sylhet, Bangladesh and do something useful in real life.

Singing the national anthem.

I come bearing some bad news. In my last post, I mentioned Lubna, a girl that was missing school because of her brothers' health condition. He was a sickly baby of only 4 months and unfortunately, I was informed that he passed. I was also told that this happens often, not because there was nothing to do but because parents of these children lack awareness.

It pains me deeply when this kind of stuff happens. Especially since the life of the infant could have probably been longer. He might have made it if the family was educated. I think of it and I am really fazed. Do you know why? I was a weak, sickly child. I could have had the same fate. It is frightening to think of it that way. How much your life depends on your surroundings.

The child mortality rate in Bangladesh is high overall. The moms often do not take care of themselves during pregnancies and it leads to complications. There are also cases where families depend on superstitions and myths. Precisely that is why we need to educate these kids and their families.

There is another girl at school. Her name is Shelina. Her mom is the only provider for the household as her older son left them behind when he got married. The duo is in a tricky situation and it looks like Shelina might get left in a boarding school where she will be raised as an orphan. Her mom is searching for such a school.

This family of two was left by both, the father and the older brother and it is a bizarre situation. At least in my eyes. I can't imagine, really. I think that is the reason I need to go to Bangladesh as soon as possible. To see these things myself and search for ways to actually help and make a difference.

Are they singing?
