Let’s Fight Mal-Nutrition and Educate our Self to Live Healthy
It’s a rainy day and there’s no plan and nothing to do. Till I realize to join as a Volunteer Chef in Elementary School who have a Feeding Program for malnourish students.
It’s a nice and brilliant idea to use my extra free time this day to be part of it and helping with fellow parents who are supporting this kind of campaign.
Many young children are less educate how important the foods and live healthily. Most of the parents weren’t able to spend the time to realize if they sustain enough the nutrients of the food they serve at home. It’s very important to be fit and healthy, to avoid sickness and follow accurate weight in our ages. Learning the importance of fruits and vegetable, this is better to serve in kids. And not tolerating them to patronize and eat junk foods.
Some of the young students in Banay-Banay Elementary High School in Laguna, supporting a campaign for Feeding Program for nutritious food.
And some listed students have problems with their weight and experience skipping foods at home because of poverty.
This kind of Project really makes sense helping young students to correct their weight. Learn to eat vegetables and value foods. And I’m totally enjoyed being one of the chefs of this day making a chicken soup and crispy fried squash. A perfect combination to give in our beneficiary, what a lovely nice lunch for the students.
I join cutting vegetables, cooking and helping the dishes with my fellow volunteer Moms. Cooking and spending the time to talk with them regards this nice campaign.
Making a strong and consistent project, like this help young students and kids to inspire studying and not experiencing hungriness. So they can able to be energetic and focus to do their school activities and having a good time to recite, answer a test paper with a good mentality.
This is also showcasing how student fight hunger, so they can focus well in school and be active. If you go to school hungry, unenthusiastic because you have some problem financially and family supports you will feel weak and no interest to study.
We need to educate each and everyone that Food helps us to be healthy and give us energy and motivate us for our daily life. We should fight hungry in every young kid and inspire them that poverty is not a reason to stop going to school. But to inspire, educate them and kid them a value to live physically healthy, mentally and emotionally.
And spending yourself in this kind of campaign or advocacy truly needs a lot of kind-hearted Volunteers.
