Update of the project One opportunity, donations and much more. Aragua, Venezuela
Hello dear Steemers.
We regret our absence in the network, our team has been working in fixed positions, which has limited the time for Oneopportunity activities, however we have made a super donation to the sanctuary of Madre Maria de San José, celebrating the beginning of lessons.
As some already know, in this place they give assistance of home, education, housing and health to helpless girls, a total of approximately 40 girls of different ages.
They also feed people every morning, low income people who can not afford that food, part of this donation was for this purpose, the girls have a library and limited access to the internet, by limited I mean, it is only for matters of study, and they have only one computer for all the girls, that is, their education is based on studies by books.
On the other hand we have this approximate population of 100 people who attend every day the public dining room of the Sanctuary Madre Maria de San Jose, many of these people have children, who therefore do not have enough resources to attend classes, so the nuns have decided to leave part of this donation for those people who have children of lesser resources.
The donation consisted of three parts: Food, toiletries and school supplies.
Food: 12 kg of rice, 6 kg of grains, 3 kg of flour and vegetables such as potatoes, carrots, chives, tomatoes, yucca, hot peppers, courgettes, tacos.
Toiletries: 3 tubes of toothpaste, 2 bars of blue soap for clothes.
School supplies: 17 encyclopedias from 1st to 7th grade, 18 notebooks of one line, 10 markers of different colors, a box of Mayca large erasers (20), 18 pencil sharpeners, 24 Mongolian pencils.
For the purchase of these items donations from @adollaraday, @thedegensloth and @crypto.charity were used.
This can be divided into two phases. The first was the purchase of school supplies.
Which is justified as 25 SBD for a total of 2100 BsS.
With this donation the purchase of 17 encyclopedias and 10 markers was made.
18 notebooks of a line, a box of Mayca large erasers (20), 18 pencil sharpeners, 24 Mongolian pencils.
These products are from the purchase that was made to donate supplies to a special children's school, which could not resume activities for the new school year due to the low amount of enrollment (the rest of these supplies will be donated to another low school resources).
Each encyclopedia had a value of 100 BsS and each marker a value of 40 BsS, they buy them in a garage sale that they make the weekends in the park of fairs of San Jacinto, for which there was no cost in VAT nor expense Of transport.
The second phase consists of the donation of food and toiletries.
Where 10,351 SBD is justified for 1188.4 BsS and 27,581 STEEM for 2683.08 BsS which gives us a total of 3871.48 BsS.
For the purchase of these items, the money was divided into cash and point of sale consumption, with the purpose of going to the wholesale market of the intercomunal to buy the largest number of products at a low cost, most of the people who sell their products. Products here do not have point of sale.
By point of sale we bought 6 Kg of grains with a cost of 180 BsS per kg, which gives us 1080 BsS and the remaining 92.14 BsS are the product of almost one Kg of tomatoes.
110 BsS 1 kg of topocho and 280 BsS 2 bars of blue soap.
We made a cash withdrawal at the bank in the amount of 2100
This gives us a rest of 209, 34 BsS, 200 BsS was used for transport costs back from the free market to my house, and subsequent days to the Sanctuary, since there were many bags which was dangerous to transport by bus.
Subtracting the withdrawal commission from the bank (3 BsS), this generates 6.34 BsS of surplus to be used in a next donation together with 9.55 BsS of the previous donation.
Here we have some photos of the day of donations, was received by Sister Eunice and Daniela one of the largest girls in the group.
Annex this picture, art in honor of the mother Maria de San Jose, was made with grains of different colors.
All the plates around are thanks to Mother Maria for favors or granted miracles.
