Heavy spraying in the skies today, West Coast

I do not like posting on this topic.
Chemtrails are so easily disregarded with an accompanying label of "crackpot." This time, however, my curiosity has gotten the better of me. Well, that and when reviewing tags, I saw chemtrails listed. So what the heck, here we go.

I wake early, out here in Oregon, to get the kids to school on time. Today started off pretty crisp and blue up above, yet an hour or two later while I was running errands (OK, I was playing Ingress, too ...) I noticed several trails being laid over a wide spread from West to East, all running, more or less North & South, Parallel to the West Coast.

Chemtrails
Looking West. The whispy clouds are previously sprayed trails, spreading out

These photos are pretty large. I don't know how to make them display larger on the page, but if you Right Click on the image and select Open image in new tab you should be able to peruse the photos with much greater detail.

More contrails, I mean Chemtrails
Can anyone produce photos of the sky with contrails and clouds like these from the 60's or 70's?

I'm not sure why chemtrails do not strike me as so incredulous as it does with most people. I had one friend say to me:

"Well, if there were some big conspiracy, people would talk!"

My reply was simple: "People are talking it's just that not many are listening, let alone being willing to simply consider it."

Eastward sky is thick with chemtrails
Looking Eastward. I witnessed at least 4 trails being laid then spreading out to fill the sky.

The haze left by these trails is oily. Look at the sun in these photos, see how the clouds to the bottom of it are picking up and enhancing the sunlight? It's like it is lighting up the oil sheen or something.

The sun is obscured by chemtrails
Eastward: These clouds did not come over us to then fill the East sky, like they typically do. They were put down by planes

By the time I had finished my errands, it was a different sky. I found a tree to get a shot of the sky with the sun obscured some and sure enough, there's that unnatural sundog, (ring around Sol) that looks far too reddish brown to be a naturally occurring .

Hazy sky
Dang, the brownish sundog isn't reading well in these photos. You can see the upper right side of the ring running through the clouds ... errrrr, chemicals?

Hazy, lazy sky
"Ring around the sunshine, pocket full of strychnine"
Wait, what?

Make of it what you will. I am not asserting it as fact, nor am I playing chicken little. I do, however, not trust things that people tend to take as fact without checking up on.

"Truth is stranger than fiction."
-Some clever old-timey person

Our world is anything but a static space. Change occurs hourly, mostly in a subtle manner that we do not even notice, until it has become a significant change and we cannot help but notice. Therefore, expecting things to always be the way they are - I'm buying everything on beta-max!" - is foolish at best and pure denial at worst.

Here's a bonus shot for you. I took this weeks back. It was much lower than usual and the break in the trail cannot be wind, else, I suspect we'd see whispy bits where the cut was blown out, not such a clean break like ... I dunno, maybe like nozzles turning on and off then on again.

Pilot trying to send a msg?
Is the pilot trying to tell us something?

OK, probably not. That's right, it is more likely air in the system as the fresh batch of the day's chemical du jour, begins dispertion ...

What do you think? Are you convinced that geoengineering is well underway? Is it all a bunch of malarkey to you? Do you have crazy stories to share on the subject? Please link to your posts in the comments!

Thank you so much for documenting these crimes against all LIFE.

Hi @lyndsaybowes thanks for reading!

Yeah, for over a decade, as a layman, I've been trying to brush it aside ...

Well it is a terrible subject to delve into, yet we must raise awareness about it. I still cannot believe people in my family think it's normal. Very very frustrating! The hope, lays in the fact that more and more are noticing and speaking out, like you.

Here are photos from the very next day and I did not see a single plane in the sky, let alone any with contrails dissipating or not.

Clear skies. No contrails and big puffy cumulus clouds

Yes, it's easy to see the difference for me too. I have no clue how to bring attention to this horrible geoengineering, most label it as conspiracy theory. I guess the tv will have to admit it and then they will believe.

OMG, totally. The TV has to tell them, lmao over here while crying a little ...

I've always been very skeptic towards chemtrails. Debunking it also on the argument of condensation from the engines. But a couple weeks ago I had a very curious experience. While flying over France there was another plane crossing our path, though lower, and it had grey/black smoke coming out of it. I was shocked, I thought it may have been an airplane in trouble. But the days after I kept searching the news about any flight that may have been in trouble, but nothing showed up. So I don't really know what to think about it anymore. Black smoke is nót condensation.

Now that is interesting. One of the primary reasons I give geo-engineering credit is because of the military application. The military has known for ages that if they can control the weather, they have the ultimate high ground, planet side. The DOD lost 9 Trillion recently. It's not the first time that they've lost a staggering amount that could fund a LOT of chem trails.

True. Can you please elaborate so that I can better understand the tagging system?

I added science in the 5th position, because debunking usually involves hard science.

Does everything tagged science have to be ... well, peer-reviewed and such? Is this a social network or a repository of higher learning?

No it doesn't have to be peer reviewed, but I would like to think at least being grounded in reality should be a prerequisite for the science tag.

Hey fair enough. So you are saying that you do not see any merit in the photos I present?

That is absolutely fine! I do not expect you to, however, discounting out of hand someone else's experience, without even a modicum of consideration ... well, that's denial. For instance @justtryme90, reality is subjective. I am showing you my reality where the science fits in is up to you. Scientifically, are these common cloud structures traditional? Not so much.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong with the emoticons, isn't this tag supposed to work?

Science is not subjective, it is the application of the scientific method to analyse phenomenon. Scientifically those cloud structures are absolutely typical from condensation resultant of the jet propulsion. If I can remember I will look for a video explaining the phenomenon.

I get that you don't think that I understand the scientific method, empirical evidence, etc. I also appreciate the offer of a video, but I understand how valuable one's time can be, so no worries if that doesn't happen. So then, in regards to contrails and cloud formations, I gather from what you're saying that you see the cloud formations in my photos above as regular old altostratus or cirrus clouds?

And if we're still on the tag discussion, are you unsatisfied with the tag being applied to something that calls for science to be brought to bear?

i mostly keep my knowledge to myself now, unless someone asks. until i got on steemit no one ever did. the spectrum of sunlight is a known thing. you can buy spectroscopes on amazon. have you seen weird colored rainbows? or rings around the sun? these were the things that tipped me off. check it out for yourself. spectroscopes are how astronomers can tell what the composition of things in space are, as long as they know the spectrum of light going through it. do the tests yourself and it won't matter who makes fun of you. i did and now i know how to detox myself for exactly those things. so i figure that if i keep my knowledge to myself and only the people who actively want to learn it, eventually, the people who think it is funny will weed themselves out. then i won't have to argue with them anymore. maybe by that time enough of the remaining people will be angry enough to do something about it. we are way past denying or making fun of this. here is CIA director, john brennen, at the council on foreign relations, talking about "stratospheric aerosol injection"
anyone who doesn't think this is real now, is in denial or just stupid.

I forgot to respond directly to this post - Yes, I have seen the unnatural ring and the strange rainbow effect. So weird. And lately it has been hot. Like all the time. It can be cold out, and I still feel hot. Maybe I'm just SO damn sexy ... LOL! Nah, interesting, but I have no idea what to make of it. I started getting a little too buggy, so now I am focusing on my immediate family - my kids are a wonderful experience, and I'm fortunate to have an awesome partner. Still, strange days indeed. Most peculiar, Momma!

the spectrum through the spray clouds are shifted to the green blue violet part of the spectrum. we all know what a rainbow should look like. the spray spectrum is more along the lines of what reflecting from aluminum, and some other stuff, should do. a spectrometer will tell you what is happening locally at different times. the aluminum will also trap more infrared, hence the weird heat where you can feel the heat on your skin, but the air doesn't feel hot, that's infrared.

I was wondering about that. It just didn't feel right. 55 degrees in the overcast cold and windy morning? And I get hot and sweat more than normal, which I dislike. I lived in Nevada for 6 or so years and I came to love how the sweat just wicks off you, no matter how hard you're working. The corollary, of course, is staying well hydrated.

I believe that experience has made me more aware of temperature, especially now that I'm in the Pacific North West.

Thanks for sharing, @lifeworship I like you! :-)

i experienced similar infrared in bellevue , wa.

Did you see the sun at all today? I mostly only saw it at sunrise & sunset, and it had a really weird quality to it, kind of like a reflection instead of direct light. Totally subjective though.

i am in colorado now. it was sunny here.

It was beautiful today, here in Oregon. Sunny, everything seemed quite normal.

I'm listening. It seems a little strange to me as the skies do seem different than when I was younger. I am 45 now. I do not jump in one direction or another. I really don't care about opinions, I'd simply like to know facts and make an informed decision. So I get a little angry when I see people being rigid and over bearing in the conspiracy side of the aisle or the skeptic side.

That rigidity certainly doesn't do much to encourage personal fact finding activity, does it?
Rigid thinking is scary, if not simply a dead end. I mean, talk about zombies!
An open mind, strong enough not to leap first, is a damn fine thing.

Unfortunately, As Douglas Adams wrote, What are we but a bunch of jumbled sensory receptors? Facts can be difficult to verify. In fact, they require nothing less than financial investment, time, sampling, reviewing data ... or? Or trusting some of the YouTubes? They claim to present evidence.

Whew. I don't know what to think. However I do agree, I'm in my late 40's and I'm pretty sure that is not the sky that I grew up and spent my entire life under on the West Coast, here.

The furthest back that I can recall someone telling me that a "bag thrower" friend of theirs actually witnessed the equipment, briefly before being told he did not belong back there, was 2003 or 2004. I had heard about it previously, but that was a pretty good friend claiming factual knowledge as we watched a trail being laid above.

So I've just paid more attention over the last decade. I don't have any evidence, I'm not a true believer, yet recently, I'm becoming convinced that it deserves further investigation.

Have you ever viewed the documentary on the subject?

Today, the skies were clear. Nice big puffy cumulonimbus clouds with nary a plane nor contrail in sight. Weird, really. I would have expected to see the planes with disappearing contrails. I didn't see one plane! I would post a photo, but the imgsafe URL still will not resolve for me.

For people who think chem-trails is a paranoid conspiracy theory for right wing uneducated trailer trash with daddy issues...I suggest you actually look for yourself at the information rather than assuming:

Hey @the.dudermensch You link is not working, can I help you fix it? I'm interested in your reference.

Thanks!

I do not like posting on this topic.

Maybe it will be easier for you if you post under the #geoengineering tag then. :)

Hey thanks, @jamesc I'm obviously a minnow, or plankton, and I'm not sure I have the tags down, and I actually do appreciate their value.

So when I am looking for existing tags, where should I be looking? I read something I thought was saying don't make up tags ... So I try to only use the tags I see in the tags list on the right side of the page. I click see more and pick from that list.

If you are able to orient me, I would be very appreciative.

More photos from the very next day. I swear I did not see a single plane in the sky. Not one! I would have expected a few commercial flights - but there were literally none.
