The Good, the Bad, and the Rambunctious Pt. 2
Little Joey was at it again at the daycare today. My goodness, he's a little firecracker! Not only did he refuse to listen to the teachers at all, at any point of the day, but he threw his milk glass across the table (luckily it was empty), slapped a teacher, created a new martial arts just to avoid his chair at lunch, and defiantly peed his pants because he didn't want to make a trip to the bathroom. I'm telling you, this kid is crazy!
Here's the thing, though. It's impossible to stay mad at him. He's ADORABLE. When he's playing nicely and not trying to end the world, he's actually a pretty sweet kid.
His Grandma, or Noni, picked him up today, and I have to say she's pretty cool. She's British, dresses like she's 30, and has a tongue ring. She knows what's up with this kid, too. When she heard about his rough day, she made him apologize to the teachers and immediately doled out the discipline. He knew he would be in even bigger trouble when his daddy got home and he straightened right up. Kudos to Noni!
Working at the daycare this summer is definitely not what I was expecting. It's a lot more lively, thanks to my little firecracker. Two-year-olds keep life interesting. I love it!
