Children in Philippines

in #children7 years ago (edited)

I just got back home from my last children's camp. We studied about the rights of children and about their condition in the Philippines.

We focus on the present issues like Extra Judicial Killings.

Children have 4 main rights:

1. the right to live.

2. the right to security of person.

3. the right to flourished.

4. the right to be heard.

Most of them don't know their rights. Most of them never got a chance to study in school. Most of them are getting ignored by adults. They are also not secure and some never live. This what happens to poor children in Philippines.

Extra Judicial Killings is one of the trending issues in the Philippines. Children are dying from the hands of the policemen. Kian Delos Santos, Carl Angelo Arnaris, Joshua Cumilang and many more children died because of war on drugs.

If the protectors will continue killing his people then who will protect them?

Wether they are Drug users, Drug dealers or innocent, They are still children who have the rights to live. Killing them also violates all of their rights.
