I agree. Communication with your children might be foremost on the list. The communication should be two way, meaning don't just tell the kid but more so ask the kid how he /she feels is the best way to handle a situation. After listening then suggest what you feel is a good or better way. Something needs to be changed on how we protect the children because based on what's happening in the schools, we are not doing a very good job. Good post.
