This is how far my chili's have grown in the new, hydroponic systems. It was 11 days when I added the "pregrown chili's" in their true place image can be seen here.

Not related to that, all you should see the small image behind the link. It's stating that this link takes you away from Steemit.

That's really important for you all to see, as there have been a lot of phising attacks recently. People are trying to trick you to enter a site and then give your password/keys.

In most browsers, you can see the URL the link is taking you by hovering the mouse above the link. If that seems shady, don't enter. If you enter, don't give your password or keys. The link above goes to an image saved on Steemit servers.

Also, I got seeds related to the project I'm participating in!
I'm looking forward of growing these to see the results and help @dysprosium to finish his interesting project!

This is a plant breeding project with hybrid chili growing. The hybrid chili's are basically a mix of two different chili breeds and the new chili breed can be very different from the parent chili's. However it usually takes several generations for the hybrid species to "settle down" and until that, it is unstable.

I'm not even quite sure what we're trying to reach with this project, but I'm in.

We have started to see signs of Eastern closing in. Small (very cheap) chicks are all around us, we have stores filled with Mämmi (which is basically a tasty paste made of rye and malts) and we have plenty of ladies looking like witches.

That's normal though, so nothing to be worried about.

The best thing about Eastern in Finland are those yellow chicks. They are extremely cheap but they are CUTE and I could fill most of the apartment with them.

Chilies... rrrright :P
Hydroponic hybrids y'all!

i think you love gardening. You are taking great care of your chilies :)

Well I do, these are the only plants which really survive under my care :)

HI apsu,

Do you live in Finland? Are you experimenting with chili peppers as a project? I like to experiment with various kinds of tomatoes. I plant about 5 or 6 different varieties, just to see which
is easiest to grow and which one I think is the tastier.

Thanks for passing on the information regarding scamming a password. I didn't know that I could hover over the url to see where I was being taken.

I'm already growing some different varieties on my own, but also I took part in this "project" with two different chili breeds for some kind of test growing. I'm having already my favorite in easy varieties (Malawi bird's eye), but now I'm happy testing all other kidns of chili's too.

For the summer, we have some different tomatoes pregrowing too. I'm hoping we'll have a warm summer, as in Finland it's not always certain.

Those tomatoes look delicious in the photo, are they grown by you? :)

Ur icecream like plants hv grown much..! 😃

good to see them expressing their identity..!🤣

Mm'm, growing more and more the delicious chocolate taste!

Nice @apsu
It seems you have grown all of them in your garage. Well, I also tried once growing chilli but could not succeed.

I'm not sure if the garage is a good or bad thing? :D It's not in a garage though, we just have a small and messy apartment.

Did you get the chili to grow at all? Some popular varieties of chili are extremely demanding to grow, when others (which I prefer) can be super easy. If you ever want to try again, I'd recommend malawi bird's eye if you can find seeds for that.

Got some very nice chicks there @apsu x'D

I am scared of spicy things, but I like plants :D and good heads up on being careful of clicking links. We have to be careful to keep our wallets safe!~

Thanks, they aren't as young as they seem!

I don't want to eat super hot chili's and I'm using those mostly to make jam. Not looking for the extreme experiences :)

Phew, luckily I noticed the symbol in your link so I won't enter it.

Rats, I needed to go phishing!~ and Apsu, do you mean like a chili spread? How does one taste?? I do enjoy light spice, but also not dramatic. I enjoy having a sense of taste, and touch on my tongue lmao.

Well.. no. It's a real jam, called the devil's jam - made of chili, onion, tomato, paprika and sugar (and a bit of something else). It's sweet but spicy, but very different from sweet chili sauces.

I should make a post of it someday. It can be used on a bread though, but it's it's best with goat cheese.

Before you mentioned it, I was thinking about sweet chili sauce.
(Blocking my thoughts now 0_0!) So kinda like the devil's lettuce?

Please do! I'm trying to imagine the flavor, and it is coming out kinda Cajun lol. Also, what does goat cheese taste like? I've eaten many different cheeses, but I don't think I've tried that one yet <3

I had to google what devil's lettuce is and it seems to be cannabis :D

So no, not anything like that.

Oh my god, you have missed so many things in food.. and I'm a Finnish person saying this. We are from the country of dull food. :D

Rats, uh... I mean oh! Okay c:

Apparently so, but I beg to differ. Everytime you post about food—it's definitely outside the norm you know!~

Why not get real chicks? :D

I'm trying, but my wife tells them to go home :(

😂😂😂😂😂

so beautiful photography... please upvoted and resteemid
