Hold up.
Let me share with you a quick one.
Few days to her turning five, my little sister was all excited. She went on and on about it(i mean is it easy to be officially five😀)... One morning(before the D-day), just after i had gotten her ready for school, she went to mum and with all innocence she said, "mummy, do you know what i want you to do for my birthday?"
Mum said no. Then she continued,
"I want you to go to where they sell tabs, buy me a tab, wrap it like a present, then hide it in your room and don't let me know"
Mum smiled and said, " pray to God to give mummy money, ok?"
"Ok mummy" she replied. And dashed off, all smiles.
Mum was smiling and me?...i was wowed!
Do you know why?...I'll tell you.
Mum had called me the previous afternoon to ask the kind of games she(my sis) likes so she would install them for her(in the tab she had aready gotten for her). I smiled and said, "you've so made her year..."
And the amazing thing is that she wasn't even home when we talked about it...i just said to mum, "she must be a prophetess" and we both laughed.
Cool story, yeah?

Now it gets even more wonderful,
because we're going to 'reason' together...

Ready?... Alright.

Can i tell you that this scenario/story got me thinking.... You know, of that relationship between mother and child; and the one btween God and us.

I mean, isn't it the same?

Well, let's see...

Firstly, you'll agree with me that parents, to a child of that age is everything(including God)... He looks up to them for practically everything they can ever imagine - protection, provision, etc.... Just as we look up to God for same and more.
Now, for a child of that age to go ahead and make her request/desire know to her parent(s) (even when it might seem big and ridiculous to some of us), it shows that she trusts in the capabilities of her parent(s) and believed that she would get what she asked for, that is, her parent(s) won't let her down...that is why she didn't just ask, she 'planned' how she wanted to receive it...hallelujah!

We can also imagine that to her, she might have thought of something really great...you know, the best she could come up with, but little did she know that even before she asked, it had already been done!

And it doesn't end there,
her expectations were going to be exceeded; because she was not only going to get a tab, she was also going to get all the games she loved already installed for her...so no stressing. And we can bet that Even with that, her parent(s) are ever willing to do even more...How glorious!

"So if they being evil know how to give good gifts, how much more our Father in heaven?"
Our father whose wealth is inexhaustible and His capabilities unlimited; He knows you have need for these things and has made them available;
He just needs you to 'ask' and 'believe'... Walk by Faith then watch Him show you.

You can never ask too much, so never underestimate Him because He is more than capable to do and exceed whatever we ask and expect of Him.

Awesome, yeah?

Wait, There is even more..
Do You Know that you can do anything He puts in your heart to do... Yes.
So, hold on to wherever it is, believe and stay deeply rooted in Him.

The situation doesn't look good?...walk by faith not sight; for if sight was that important Samson wouldn't have done what he did when he lost his sight.

So when you utter, utter by faith,
Act by faith,
Walk by Faith...and you'll be glad you did.

2 Corinthians 5:7 KJV - For we walk by faith, not by sight.
