REGRETS

- Whatever causes you to regret, was either given to you by the devil or built on your ignorance...
- Regrets uses the power of imagination/memory to recall past failures or foiled endeavor...
Regrets feeds the soul with low self-esteem and curbs your ability to move on. - When regrets is your focal point in achieving success, fear is your companion and your objective is short-lived...
- Satan uses regrets to haunt Christian faithful: this may result to unbelief...
- A man filled with regrets is an angry man and will die before his day.
- A man with regrets will struggle to make things right without succeeding. It makes one self-centered and reliant
- A man of regrets will repeat his actions again.
- God doesn't want you to regret, he wants you to repent.
In the Hebrew of the Old Covenant two words are used in the concept of repentance, they are - - NAHUM - to lament, to grieve. This word is describing the emotions that are aroused when motivated to take a different course of action.
- SHUB - This word expresses a radical change of mind toward sin and implies a conscious moral separation from sin and a decision to forsake it and agree with God.
In the Greek of the New Covenant, there are also two words used which parallel the Hebrew usage. - METAMELOMAI - to have feeling or care, concern or regret this is akin to remorse.
- METANOEO - to have another mind, which describes that radical change whereby a sinner turns from the idols of sin and of self to God.

Repentance then is the informing and changing of the MIND stirring and directing the EMOTIONS to urge the required change, and the action of the yielded WILL in turning away from sin and to God.
