Nothing to Fear

Let's face it. Everybody is afraid of something. From failing in school to failing in life and from global security to our private thoughts, fear robs us of our peace.
Just this week, our nights are disturbed by an unwelcome visitor, a snake. It happened twice this week. Fear of this reptile and the harm that this animal poses to my family's safety haunt me every time. There are many "what ifs". But then I realized, dwelling on this fear will not help me in anyway.

In the book of John 11:7, the Bible tell s how the disciples feared for their lives when Jesus told them to go to Judea again. But Jesus answered,

John 11: 9-10

If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble. But if anyone walks
in the night, he stumbles because the light is not in him.

He told His disciples;

John 8:12

I am the light of the world.

If Jesus is in you, there is nothing to be afraid of.
