Lansing Area Native American Pow-Wow

in #christian-trail6 years ago

Most people do not know that Lansing, Michigan has a very large Native American population and also is nationally known for having large Pow-Wow every year. People travel from all over the country to meet and celebrate Native American culture and discuss issues that effect Naive Americans.

The Pow-Wow is located at Adado Riverfront Park which is located right across the street from my school so I decided to go over and check it out yesterday. I took a bunch of pictures, but I was told not to take any pictures of the dancers, there is actually a sign saying so. I wanted to respect them so I did not.

I hope you enjoy the pictures that I did take!
