Scripture verse
And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb.
Romans 4:19

To consider means to spend time thinking about a possibility or making a decision. Sometimes we allow our minds to roam more than it should. As part of developing Self control Phil 4:8 tells us ".....whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."
Someone can be happy today but if he allows negative thoughts to linger in his mind the next moment, it quickly changes his demeanor.

Mental strength is the ability to focus on the word of God, and on things that are positive. A good example is an account of the life of Abraham in the scripture reference above. As Abraham was growing old, he got to a point where he knew physically he and Sarah could not conceive, but he didn't pay attention to that but he kept his thoughts under control. He believed God by His word and remained strong in the Lord.

Though reality of the impossible stared at him everyday, he refused to think about it. If he had, it would have made him doubt God. He grew strong in faith by giving praise to God.
Wake up everyday and give praise even in the midst of difficulty. Instead of pondering on negative thoughts, Grow strong by giving glory to God.

Abraham is the father of faith because as the years passed by he made up his mind to keep believing even till death. *__Whether things are moving the way you want it or not, Be strong in the lord.

Prayer
Father Lord, I pray that you give me mental strength to be able to set my mind on you always no matter what comes my way, in Jesus's name. Amen.

God bless us
