Your life will certainly change!!

I don't really know whether it will be for the better or not, as I have heard too many stories of people becoming a 'little different' (to say the least) when success, fame and fortune come their way.

I'd like to share on a scripture in the Word about "The Rich and the Kingdom of God" from Matthew 19:16-28 (NIV) Source

16 Just then a man came up to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?” 17 “Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.”Source

18 “Which ones?” he inquired.Jesus replied, “‘You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, 19 honor your father and mother,’[a] and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’[b]” 20 “All these I have kept,” the young man said. “What do I still lack?”Source

21 Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” 22 When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth.Source

23 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”Source

25 When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?” 26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God ALL THINGS are possible.” Source

The story follows this Rich Man who Jesus knew was thinking in his heart that he could "buy his way" into everything. Perhaps almost everything could be bought by any rich man on earth, but not SALVATION. Even till today.

You see Jesus wanted to show us all that such a person exist in the world (actually too many) and I believe He is not just making reference about the Rich, but to ANYONE who is seemingly too preoccupied with SELF (Self-Made, Self-Dependence, Self-Accomplished and even Self-Righteous!!)

From this one passage of scripture, Jesus revealed that without HIM (in our lives), WE ARE NOTHING... even though we may have everything (all the riches of this world!!!)

Do you "make GOD All Things" or "are All Things God"?

I hope this revelation speaks to you clearly today!

Because in our lives, we may be seeking all those things first and then asking God to bless them. It doesn't work that way.

We have to be found seeking HIM, Alone!

Nothing else must satisfy. Imagine if you have gained the whole world but not that one important thing, you are still LOST.

That Key🔑 is God!

Will you Make Him Your ALL, from this day forth?

...To be continued tomorrow...

Blessings & Shalom.

Amen! I feel like this is such an important message for today's world.

Matthew 6:24:" "No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other..."

It is extremely easy to get caught up with wealth, personal ambitions, and Earthly possessions - We must put God on the throne of our lives where He belongs.

Thank you for sharing!

Amen to that @girlaftergod. And yet we are not called to avoid wealth or fame, but to use all of that and influence others (+ win them over) to Him!

God is everything in life.

Yes HE is everything. :)

I agree. Without God, we are nothing and wealth is fleeting. Thank you!

@wandrnrose7 exactly... but we are not called to avoid it, but to steward wealth for Kingdom purposes. Blessings to you!

Indeed and thank you! <3
