As a Buddhist, we look at all of these happenings as just man fighting against his true nature. each generation has these types of scenarios. In WW1 it was Germany, in WW2 it was Hitler and North Africa that spilled into the Middle East. If you read the history everyone was sure he was the anti-Christ. Following that there were wars an promise of wars that came and went. And yet here we are with each other trying to figure out how to live together. We believe that it is our fear and bad behavior that causes these actions and until we can get this all right things will not change. But the moment we get it right we will all have Heaven right here on Earth.
