RE: I'm sick of being a Christian sometimes

Well firstly, the issues seemingly are a bit of both options one and two.

Very few things can be precisely described as up/down, black/white, or left/right. When gazing at a forest you can't only stare at the trees, because otherwise you'll miss the shrubs, moss, deer, birds, etc.

Going to church is not a requirement and if it makes you feel detestation and pulls you away from God, than stop going and find a different church or completely different method of worship.

If Jesus lives in every one of us, sometimes it's best when people find salvation within their selves.

Others will always want to interject themselves between you and your faith, but remember that there is no stronger connection than between you and God. Anyone else is generally not needed (in a spiritual sense).

Moreover, the most important part of all of this is how you build your foundation. Your foundation should consist of being a good person, bringing enlightenment, encouragement, and enjoyment to the lives of others. However, if you reach a point that being nice towards others is forceful on you to the point where hatred and anger build up, you just need to step back and work on improving yourself first.

You get what you give. Give kindness, receive kindness, et al.

No person is without sin.

"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us." -John 1:7-10
