#Goals (Youth Fellowship)

I. Goal

1. Goal- Our goals should conform to God’s word.

2. Plan- A series of action you will take to achieve your goal.
   Luke 14:28-31
   28 “Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it?
   29 For if you lay the foundation and are not able to finish it, everyone who sees it will ridicule you, 30 saying, ‘This person began to build and wasn’t able to finish.’
   31 “Or suppose a king is about to go to war against another king. Won’t he first sit down and consider whether he is able with ten thousand men to oppose the one coming against him with twenty thousand?

3. Pray- To seek God’s guidance and help. Proverbs 16:3,9
   3 Commit to the Lord whatever you do,
   and he will establish your plans.
   9 In their hearts humans plan their course,
   but the Lord establishes their steps.

4. Action- Execute your plan.
   Proverbs 21:5
   5 The plans of the diligent lead to profit
   as surely as haste leads to poverty.

“We may make plans but we must be sensitive to the Lord altering our plan.”

II. Worthy Goal

• Be Christlike.
  Ephesians 4:13
  13 Until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
