Understanding the Authority and Spirituality of His Word

Often times we recite John 1:1 , John 14:15, 21and John 15:10 to try to show others the relevance of the Torah. However, there are so many verses that if we dig into will also leads us deeper, and show us the significance of His Word (Torah). If we are only seeking after the letter instead of the Spirit, we will most assuredly miss the mark. In the following verses we read how the Word Y'shua spoke cleansed those who heard it. As Abba YHVH gives us so many physical pictures to lead us into the spiritual, Y'shua (The Word of YHVH - Rev 19:13) came down in the flesh to show us the spiritual meaning of His Word!

Luke 4:31-36
And He came down to Kephar Naḥum, a city of Galil, and was teaching them on the Sabbaths. And they were astonished at His teaching, for His word was with authority. And in the congregation was a man having a spirit of an unclean demon. And he cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Ha! What have we to do with You, יהושע of Natsareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know You, who You are, the Set-apart One of Elohim!” And יהושע rebuked him, saying, “Be silenced, and come out of him!” And when the demon had thrown him in their midst, it came out of him without hurting him. And astonishment came on all, and they spoke to each other, saying, “What is this word, that with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out?”

John 15:3
“You are already clean because of the Word which I have spoken to you.

1 Corinthians 2:11-14
For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man that is in him? So also, the thoughts of Elohim no one has known, except the Spirit of Elohim. And we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit that is from Elohim, in order to know what Elohim has favourably given us, which we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Set-apart Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual matters with spiritual matters . But the natural man does not receive the matters of the Spirit of Elohim, for they are foolishness to him, and he is unable to know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Romans 7:14
For we know that the Torah is Spiritual, but I am fleshly, sold under sin.

Paul sums up that the Torah is spiritual, yet He is fleshly..... sold under sin. Think about that in spiritual terms regarding Messiah Y'shua. He, The Word of YHVH is Spiritual, yet He became flesh to pay for our sin.
