Will He find Faith when He returns?

“I say to you that He shall do right to them speedily. But when the Son of Aḏam comes, shall He find the belief on the earth?”
Luqas (Luke) 18:8 TS2009

Have been pondering this verse much lately....... Putting it together with the surrounding verses gives a better understanding of the context Y'shua is using here;

And He spoke a parable to them, that they should always pray and not lose heart, saying, “In a certain city there was a certain judge, not fearing Elohim nor regarding man. “And a widow was in that city, and she came to him, saying, ‘Do right to me on my adversary.’ And he would not for a while, but afterward he said within himself, ‘Even if I do not fear Elohim nor regard man,” yet because this widow troubles me I shall do right to her, lest by her continual coming she wears me out.’ ” And the Master said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge said. “And shall Elohim not do right by all means to His own chosen ones who are crying out day and night to Him, and being patient over them? “I say to you that He shall do right to them speedily. But when the Son of Aḏam comes, shall He find the belief on the earth?”
Luqas (Luke) 18:1‭-‬8 TS2009

Don't these verses point to this?

“And many false prophets shall rise up and lead many astray. “And because of the increase in lawlessness, the love of many shall become cold. “But he who shall have endured to the end shall be saved.
Mattithyahu (Matthew) 24:11‭-‬13 TS2009

Does that not go along with what Y'shua is speaking here?

And on that day יהושע went out of the house and sat by the sea. And large crowds were gathered together to Him, so that He went into a boat and sat down. And all the crowd stood on the beach. And He spoke to them much in parables, saying, “See, the sower went out to sow. “And as he sowed, some indeed fell by the wayside, and the birds came and devoured them. “And others fell on rocky places, where they did not have much soil, and immediately they sprang up, because they had no depth of soil. “But when the sun was up they were scorched, and because they had no root they withered. “And others fell among thorns, and the thorns came up and choked them. “And others fell on good soil and yielded a crop, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. “He who has ears to hear, let him hear!” And the taught ones came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?” And He answering, said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the secrets of the reign of the heavens, but to them it has not been given. “For whoever possesses, to him more shall be given, and he shall have overflowingly; but whoever does not possess, even what he possesses shall be taken away from him. “Because of this I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. “And in them the prophecy of Yeshayahu is completely filled, which says, ‘Hearing you shall hear and by no means understand, and seeing you shall see and by no means perceive, for the heart of this people has become thickened, and their ears are hard of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, lest they should understand with their heart, and turn back, and I heal them.’ “And blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear, for truly I say to you, that many prophets and righteous ones longed to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it. “You, then, hear the parable of the sower: “When anyone hears the word of the reign, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is that sown by the wayside. “And that sown on rocky places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy, yet he has no root in himself, but is short-lived, and when pressure or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles. “And that sown among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the worry of this age and the deceit of riches choke the word, and it becomes fruitless. “And that sown on the good soil is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and yields – some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
Mattithyahu (Matthew) 13:1‭-‬23 TS2009

Back to Luke 18

And He also spoke this parable to some who relied on themselves that they were righteous, and looking down on others: “Two men went up to the Set-apart Place to pray – the one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. “The Pharisee stood and began to pray with himself this way, ‘Elohim, I thank You that I am not like the rest of men, swindlers, unrighteous, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. I fast twice a week, I give tithes of all that I acquire.’ “But the tax collector standing at a distance would not even raise his eyes to the heaven, but was beating his breast, saying, ‘Elohim, show favour unto me, a sinner!’ “I say to you, this man went down to his house declared right, rather than the other. For everyone who is exalting himself shall be humbled, and he who is humbling himself shall be exalted.”
Luqas (Luke) 18:9‭-‬14 TS2009

And they also brought infants to Him to touch them, but His taught ones seeing it, rebuked them. But יהושע called them to Him and said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them, for of such is the reign of Elohim. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the reign of Elohim as a little child, shall certainly not enter into it. And a certain ruler asked Him, saying, “Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit everlasting life?” So יהושע said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good except One – Elohim. You know the commands, ‘Do not commit adultery,’ ‘Do not murder,’ ‘Do not steal,’ ‘Do not bear false witness,’ ‘Respect your father and your mother.’ And he said, “All these I have watched over from my youth.” And hearing this, יהושע said to him, “Yet one you lack: Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven. And come, follow Me.” But when he heard this, he became intensely sad, for he was extremely rich. And when יהושע saw that he became intensely sad, He said, “How hard it is for those who have money to enter into the reign of Elohim! For it is easier for a camel to enter through a needle’s eye than for a rich man to enter into the reign of Elohim. And those who heard it said, “And who is able to be saved?” And He said, “What is impossible with men is possible with Elohim.” And Kĕpha said, “See, we have left all and followed You.” And He said to them, “Truly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or parents or brothers or wife or children, for the sake of the reign of Elohim, who shall not receive many times more in this present time, and in the age to come everlasting life.”
Luqas (Luke) 18:15‭-‬30 TS2009

Humility, Belief, Innocence, Repentance........ Not Declaring ourselves right, but rather Declaring The One who is Righteous!!!

How do we Declare Him? As Y'shua said, "You know the commands....."

Now go deeper, go the extra mile. Leave behind everything/everyone that hinders your walk with Me, Y'shua goes on to say.

As James said, " Faith without works is dead." We need to understand that Faith is more than just saying, I Believe. It's saying, I will be Faithful till the end, it is Fidelity to The One and Only True King!
