Being fully convinced you heard from God ultimately kills Him

We are given a glimpse into the mindset of evangelical Christianity all throughout the Bible. It's the ideology that thinks they can't be wrong because they heard from God.

To understand the thinking put yourself in the shoes of someone who is fully convinced what they know is from God himself. The ideology posession makes it so you dont differentiate between what God thinks and what you think.

When someone says the idea is wrong they immediately ask the question....how could God be wrong? The end logic is sound but the premise is severely flawed. Ultimate intelligence aka God... cannot be wrong but they never question the flawed premise...that what they perceive to be from God could be wrong.

We see what happens to the nation of Israel who had this mindset. The entire Bible you could say is a story of God trying to free Israel from the ideology possession of thinking what they know is from God. They stoned killed and tortured prophet after prophet.

This mindset ultimately killed the messiah which is ironic because that is who they claim to want to embrace. It's a mindset that is very difficult to escape. The Bible teaches us people are willing to kill to hold on to ideas they falsely believe are from God. In the end this mindset will cause you to crucify the one you claim to live your life for.

Test all things hold fast to that which is good.
